Signing in
The admin lives at /admin on your site. Sign in with your Email and Password.
Accepting an invitation
Section titled “Accepting an invitation”An invitation email has a link to Welcome! Choose a password. Pick a password of at least 12 characters and choose Save password and sign in. Invitation links work for 7 days; if yours has expired, ask an administrator to invite you again.
Forgot your password?
Section titled “Forgot your password?”Choose Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and enter your email. If it has an account, a reset link arrives within a minute or two. The link works for 1 hour. Setting a new password signs you out on every other device.
Signing in with your organization’s account
Section titled “Signing in with your organization’s account”If your site uses single sign-on, the sign-in page has an extra button such as Sign in with SSO or Sign in with Google. Use it to sign in with your work account instead of a password. See Single sign-on.
Two-step sign-in
Section titled “Two-step sign-in”If you’ve turned on two-step sign-in, you’re asked for a code from your authenticator app after your password. Your site may require it for everyone with admin access.
After resetting a forgotten password, you sign in again with the new password and a code. A reset link alone never gets past the second step.
Staying signed in
Section titled “Staying signed in”You stay signed in for 14 days from your last visit. Sign out from the admin menu.
“Too many attempts”
Section titled ““Too many attempts””To protect accounts, sc-cms pauses sign-ins:
- after 10 failed attempts for the same email within 15 minutes;
- after 20 attempts per minute from the same network.
Wait a few minutes and try again, or reset your password.
